“Behind the Green”
Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at the Pinery? What makes the grass so green, the fairways so lush and the rough so tough?
The secrets to making The Pinery among the best maintained courses in the Arcis portfolio and in the Denver area will be divulged at “Behind the Green”. Please join Steve Whiting, Director of Agronomy for The Pinery and Pradera, on Saturday, 5/28/16, for an in-depth tour of the Pinery Golf Course Operation. See the latest golf course equipment, learn how decisions are made to determine where and when to water, how automatic applications of fertilizer and nutrients are sent to specific areas of the course plus much more of the magic that happens every day behind the scenes!
The tour, sponsored by the Pinery Greens Committee, is open to all Pinery and Summit members. Those attending should meet in the Pro Shop promptly at 4pm on Saturday, 5/28/16.
